Learn Astrology series: The Only Way to Learn About Horary and Electional Astrology. Horary is the art of interpreting a chart set up for the moment you ask a question. The horoscope reveals the answer - including locating lost objects! Electional astrology uses astrological principles to choose a time to "give birth" - whether to a baby, a business, a marriage, a job, a trip, etc. As always, the authors excel in clear explanations with lots of examples. Both authors also provide a few "test yourself" charts with answers at the end to solidify your knowledge and confidence.
This book could be called "20th Century Horary and Electional Astrology." The authors use all of the planets (including Uranus, Neptune and Pluto) and incorporate the "new" rulerships, not just the old ones. Marion March also offers timing tips for the newest fertility techniques. Both authors take what's best of tradition, and eliminate what doesn't work, is confusing or overly complicated. They stress clarity and common sense.
Joan McEvers, particularly, has developed a much simplified way to to horary astrology that works. She excels at getting answers from a horary chart. Her illustrations show how to determine "Yes" or "No" answers to questions ranging from whether to make an investment, whether to sell (or buy) something, whether a particular team will win, whether to hire a person, etc. If you've had trouble understanding all the rules and exceptions and special cases in horary astrology, this is the book for you! |
